The tradition, know-how and reputation of Casa da Prisca’s products are the result of a love of gastronomy and products from the land which has been deep-rooted in the family for several decades. Their activities have been running continuously since 1917 with the lessons, philosophy and pleasure of transforming the best meats, fruits and vegetables passed on from parents to children and from children to grandchildren over 4 generations.
The strong connection to the region where they are based has led them to contribute to developing it along with its population and resources. This purpose of sustained development has opened up horizons as they have expanded their activities into other areas, including the creation of compotes, quince marmalades, spreads and patés. They have also revived the regional confectionery through the production of the delicious Sardinhas Doces de Trancoso.
