Quinta da Pacheca is definitely one of the most hospitable wineries in Portugal. The estate is one of the most well know properties in the entire Douro Valley and one

of the first to bottle under their own name. It is located in the Baixo (lower) Douro just opposite Regua. It consists of two farms closely located totalling 51 hectares

of vines and winery.

Quinta da Pacheca are unusual in the Douro for their range of wines. They make Ports, Still Red/Whites and also many experimental wines with unusual grapes.

This year the prize was a weekend for two to the Douro Valley courtesy of Quinta da Pacheca.
