About Licor Beirão
Nestled in Portugal’s central region, Quinta do Meiral is both the heart of Licor Beirão and the home of the Redondo family, who have owned the brand for over 70 years.
Set on the slopes of Lousã Mountain, the estate’s twelve acres grow many of the herbs used in this iconic liqueur. Here, José Redondo crafts the secret family recipe daily—a tradition passed down from his father and taught to him by his mother—creating the liqueur that’s enjoyed all over the world.
Licor Beirão is a labour of passion across three generations and is Portugal’s best-selling spirit, produced fresh every day.
