Sugar Syrup Ribeiro Seco (Madeira) W/ Doser The sugarcane honey that adorns the table of Madeirans is the culmination of a process that begins with the collection of sugarcane from which the sugarcane juice, known as guarapa, is extracted. In the final phase, a new cooking and the last filtration precede the introduction of the syrup in the vacuum boiler. Then there is the last step, the sugarcane honey, which is passed to a reservoir where it rests and cools naturally. Sugarcane honey is a 100% natural product, without additives, colorings or preservatives, having a very long duration and a rich organic composition.
