24th of February 2016 Second Edition of Atlantico´s Portfolio Tasting Following last year’s success, Portfolio Tasting was back again in 2016. Atlantico Uk was once more hosting this fantastic event as part of its 20th anniversary celebrations. An opportunity to taste some of the finest products and a chance to learned more about food and drink from Portugal and Brazil.

27th of September 2015 Atlantico Golf Cup 2015, sponsored by Quinta da Pacheca. Quinta da Pacheca is definitely one of the most hospitable wineries in Portugal. The estate is one of the most well know properties in the entire Douro Valley and one of the first to bottle under their own name. It is located in the Baixo (lower) Douro just opposite Regua. It consists of two farms closely located totalling 51 hectares of vines and winery. Quinta da Pacheca are unusual in the Douro for their range of wines. They make Ports, Still Red/Whites and also many experimental wines with unusual grapes. This year the prize was a weekend for two to the Douro Valley courtesy of Quinta da Pacheca.

Like last year Atlantico was the main sponsor and organiser of a Golf Cup at Selsdon Park Hotel & Golf Club, Croydon South London. Dan Green, the winner, received a fabulous trip to Portugal (a prize to celebrate our 20 years in business). He kindly reported back: “Just wanted to thank you again for the trip to Portugal. Once again, this year Atlantico was the main sponsor and organiser of a Golf Cup in the South London. This year we had more than 20 players representing different nationalities like Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, English amongst others. The finest and unique Iberian Black Pig Cured Ham P.D.O. The event took place on Partridges at Sloane Square, where you can find the product on sale. We had a promotional event for the Brazilian cheese rolls, the famous “pão de queijo”, from Forno de Minas. The costumers really enjoyed, since the cheese rolls were fresh baked and served still hot! 12 to 22nd of August 2011 Atlantico UK proudly announces the “Wines of Portugal Month” at the famous Harrods in Knightsbridge, started on July 12th. Atlantico UK was there, with some of the wines that represent on United Kingdom, including Muros Antigos Alvarinho from Anselmo Mendes, Casa de Santar white, Paulo Laureano Red and the Moscateis de Setubal from Casa Ermelinda Freitas.
