The history of the Company began in 1918, in Castelo Branco, when the Santiago couple dedicated themselves to creating 300 sheep that produced about 50 litres of milk per day.

Queijos Santiago presents more than 70 products in the market, priding itself in the segment of fresh cheeses, being an undisputed market leader, and also being a reference in the segment of cured cheeses , in particular with regional products.

With five production units in Portugal – Montemuro, Palmela, Monforte, Torres Vedras, Abrantes and a Logistics Center in Venda do Pinheiro, Queijos Santiago has the responsibility for the collection, production, packaging and distribution of all its products, which allows a guarantee maximum quality of the cheeses that come to the table of all Portuguese.
